When will Comcast carry The Ski Channel???

As an avid skier and mountain enthusiast, The Ski Channel is truely a dream come true channel. The chance to finally have a 24/7 destination for year round mountain activities is AWESOME. I have seen the channel, but I am a Comcast subscriber and can not get it as they currently do not carry it. While many have suggested switching to a different Cable package, I do not want to go through the hassle as I have had Comcast for years now. I am trying to rally the troops and gain attention so that all who have Comcast can check out this amazing new channel.

*This site is not affiliated with either The Ski Channel or Comcast Cable. The views and opinions expressed here are sole those of this site and all those who have chosen to write in.

Info about The Ski Channel: The Ski Channel is a Video on Demand Cable, Satellite and Telco television network distributed on Time Warner Cable, DirecTV, Verizon, Brighthouse Networks and Cox Communications. The technical term for a channel of this type is VODnet. It features mountain oriented sports, activity and lifestyle content and is devoted to year round mountain activities such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, backpacking, climbing and other mountain sports.

How You Can Help: If you are currently a Comcast subscriber or just someone who is passionate about the mountain industry and would like this amazing channel to be available to all, please write in and help. You can do so by two ways.

1. The first is to write about why you'd like to see The Ski Channel on Comcast. Take the time to post a message on this blog.
2. The second is to write Comcast directly at
http://www2.nohold.net/noHoldCust546/Prod_4/Articles35345/comcast_iframe.html and voice your opinion. My personal goal is to gain enough attention by Christmas so that Comcast will eventually carry the channel by early 2010.
